Admissions to Southwood Learning Center – A Montessori School in College Station, TX
Welcome to Southwood Learning Center admissions! We look forward to getting to know your family during the admissions process to our Montessori preschool.
Southwood Learning Center is a College Station preschool open year round.
Our childcare program accepts children between the ages of 18 months to 6 years. Perspective parents are not always familiar with what a Montessori philosophy is. We recommend that you tour our facility and visit the classrooms to see how a Montessori environment differs from traditional preschool. You will have the opportunity to see how children work independently and move freely as they learn, teach and respect themselves, those around them and their environment.
We would like to make the process of admissions as simple as possible and our goal is to provide you with all the information you need to enroll your child and get started.
Preparing children 18 months – kindergarten with a Montessori education that prepares them for life.
All students must have the following completed paperwork upon admission:
- Completed enrollment pages (all blanks must be completed)
- Complete immunization record
- Physician’s statement allowing child to attend preschool
